As a Scout Group, we offer our Scouting program to people aged 5-26, with the option to volunteer as a Scouter for adults and older youth. We currently offer two different times for youth to participate in our program: we have our SUCCESS unit that meets from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Saturdays, and our McBride unit that meets from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursdays. Our program is available to youth aged 5-17, and also continues on afterwards with our Rover program for adults. The youth are split into Sections based on their age group.
Beavers Scouts are aged 5-7, and they focus on learning new skills and crafts in a fun and exciting way.
Cub Scouts are aged 8-10, and they operate similar to Beavers but with more emphasis on leadership and teamwork skills.
The Scouts are aged 11-14, and they have a focus on outdoor skills, as well as continuing our focus on developing teamwork and leadership skills.
The Venturer Scouts are aged 15-17, and they focus on learning to plan and lead their own events more independently.
Afterwards, we have a Rover Scout section for adults aged 18-26, where they can plan larger scale activities, such as international service projects, as well as various other, smaller events throughout the year.
